D-Backs complete sweep of Dodgers

It was a special day at the ball park in Phoenix today - yes, the Diamondbacks defeated the Dodgers 4-3 and swept them in the three game series, but the dome was also opened moments before the opening pitch. I was told its not very common the dome is open during day games - I guess it's usually too hot. The light was great, and so was the 75 degree weather.

Commenting on the above caption - upon closer inspection, it almost looks like Hudson avoided the tag. It at least appears that way with the four frames I was able to capture. Look for yourself.

Coyotes Rock Stars, lose 4-2

There's nothing quite like a good hockey fight to get the crowd and your teammates into the game... or at least that's what it seems Coyotes' rookie Daniel Carcillo thought Thursday night in their final home game of the season against the Dallas Stars. His two third period brawls set a spark into the rather quiet crowd and after each plant of his right fist, his team rallied behind him to score a goal. The Coyotes went from being down 3-0 to having a chance to tie the game with less than 2 minutes remaining.
